The Extra Brut MTB route is a demanding loop, designed for trained riders who love a challenge. You start low (around 140 m a.s.l.) and tackle long, steady climbs with gradients that call for strong legs and smart pacing. The total ascent exceeds 1,000 meters, packed into sections that alternate between dirt roads, mule tracks, and more technical stretches. The maximum elevation is just under 680 meters, offering panoramic views of the area. After the uphill effort, the descents mix fast sections with more technical, exposed bits—you’ll need solid bike handling and attention to the terrain. The route covers mixed surfaces: dirt roads, singletrack trails, and a few paved links. We recommend a full-suspension MTB, or a hardtail with good travel, knobby tires, and well-maintained brakes.
