From Soligo’s parish church, descend along the ancient Cavade Road and follow the Soligo river northward until you reach trail marker no.002. Climb up the dirt road through Impero Woods until you reach the village of Collagù. Once you emerge onto Giuliana road, you’ll begin a long traverse across interconnected hills, in sequence: Col Maor, Colesìe and Col Vinal, Pian Serafin, Monte Pertegar, Roccolo, Monte Moncader. From Campo Farel, descend through switchbacks among vineyards to the small church of San Vigilio, which overlooks Col San Martino where the hike ends.

These hills offer many other hiking opportunities through a dense network of trails branching off from the main one described here. One of these trails starts at Collagù and leads to Colle di San Gallo via a dirt road that first passes through Col Brià and then Col de Fer. Walking time: 40 min, elevation gain: 170 m, distance: 2.3 km.
