The history of the Col San Martino Pro Loco APS is deep and full of meaning. Founded in 1957, the association’s mission is to enhance the local area through events that promote culture, history, and traditional products. Currently, the Col San Martino Pro Loco counts around 200 members and over a hundred volunteers who contribute enthusiastically to the success of its initiatives every year. Among these, the most significant are certainly the “Valdobbiadene DOCG Exhibition,” formerly known as the “Hills Wine Exhibition,” the San Martino Fair dedicated to agricultural, gardening, and horticultural products, and the “Seniors’ Day for the promotion of Health and Citizen Safety.” The association is also committed to: – recovering local memory by preserving historical and traditional testimonies for future generations (for example, a permanent exhibition of vintage agricultural objects and equipment can be visited at the Pro Loco headquarters); – promoting the local area and the hilly landscape recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site (through ecological days, trekking, and guided walks through the hills).
