Gruppo Alpini Farra di Soligo

Via Cal della Madonna, 66 Farra di Soligo
The Gruppo Alpini of Farra was founded on February 27, 1956, by the will of 64 former alpine soldiers who, recognizing themselves in the statute of the National ANA, united and gave life to this organization that still operates in our territory today. In this context, the group works closely with the local administration and associations in the area, making itself available for alpine Protezione Civile activities, collaborating with schools (both primary and kindergarten), the parish, and local groups. For more than forty years, it has been maintaining the town’s hillside trails several times a year, now including UNESCO Heritage trails. Six well-marked and signposted trails have been created, covering more than 30 km. The map is prominently displayed at the “Parco degli alpini,” which is equipped with children’s play equipment and maintained by the alpine soldiers themselves. Every year, the group promotes choral activities, supported by the local S. Lorenzo choir, and cultural activities related to alpine remembrance and the two world wars, bringing the analysis of these events into today’s context. Of course, it participates in all alpine initiatives promoted by its parent association.
